Join Us for the NYBC Brooklyn Chapter Formation Meeting!

Are you interested in helping grow the beekeeping community in Brooklyn? Our NY Bee Club Brooklyn Chapter Formation Meeting is the perfect opportunity to learn what it takes to start a new chapter and discover the resources available to NYBC members. Connect with current members and fellow beekeeping enthusiasts as we work together to support city beekeepers!

What’s on the Agenda?

  • Starting a New Chapter: Find out what’s involved in running a chapter of the NY Bee Club, including the support and resources available to chapter leaders and members.
  • Interactive Q&A: Current board members and general members from the Queens and Staten Island Chapters will be available to answer your questions about running a chapter and what it’s like to be a part of the NYBC community.
  • State of Beekeeping in NYC: We’ll also give a brief presentation on the current state of beekeeping in New York City and how the NYBC is helping urban beekeepers thrive.
  • Light refreshments will be available to enjoy as you mingle and learn.

Where & When:
We’ll be meeting at Saint Paul’s Roman Catholic Church on Tuesday, February 4th, at 7:00 PM.
Saint Paul’s is located at 234 Congress St, Brooklyn, NY 11201.

Special thanks to fellow Brooklyn beekeeper, Father Alex, for the use of a meeting room at the church!

This event is free and open to all:

  • Current NYBC members are encouraged to join us and share their insights.
  • Brooklyn residents interested in starting or joining the chapter are especially welcome.
